In the unlikely event that your kayak has any manufacturing defects, photos, proof of purchase and description of your claim are required. All warranty claims are subject to any exclusion and in lieu of provided evidence decided upon the discretion of Malibu Kayaks.
Brooklyn Kayaks Warranty
BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) Kayaks are built of superior materials and in accordance with stringent quality standards. With adequate maintenance, it will give you years of reliable use. But as with most products, it is subject to wear and tear. If you eventually need replacement parts, technical assistance or product/service information, please contact our Customer Service Department having ready at hand the product’s model name and serial number, as well as the date and place of purchase.
The present warranty is only valid if the original buyer registered the warranty within the thirty (30) day period immediately following the date of purchase. Registration can be done either electronically via our website or by completing and returning the registration card found in your owner’s manual.
BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) warranty is valid only if the product is used for its intended purposes and for which it was designed.
Hull and deck warranty:
The hull and deck, of the BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) Kayaks, are only warranted against defects in workmanship and/or materials for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. This warranty is extended to the original owner only and is not transferable.
Parts and accessories warranty:
Parts and accessories are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and/or materials.
This warranty does not cover:
Products used for rental or other commercial use.Products that have been damaged by negligence, misuse or accident, or wear due to the owner’s failure to
provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. Products which have been modified or repaired by unauthorized persons. Change in appearance of products due to wear, exposure or any other environmental condition. Normal wear and tear due to the normal use of the product. During the warranty period, BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) is obliged only to repair or replace, at its discretion, the above-mentioned parts, at either its manufacturing plant, or at an
authorized dealer store or service center, as decided by BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company)
Transportation costs to and from the appointed place of repair or replacement are at the expense of the consumer. BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) is not responsible
- 1) for any damages incurred in transport
- 2) for storing or transportation fees
- 3) nor for inconvenience or loss of time or money while repairs are being made.
Any return and/or repair of products must be accompanied by a BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) authorization number obtained by your dealer and which can only be issued by calling BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) Customer Service Department between 10 am and 6 pm Eastern Standard Time Monday-Friday (except Holidays) at 1(800)457-1283. The return of any BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) product will not be accepted by BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) without this authorization number.
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty by BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) in connection with its above-mentioned products and BK Kayak Corp (Brooklyn Kayak Company) makes no warranties or representations, expressed or implied (including warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose) in such connection except as specifically set in this warranty.
All incidental and/or consequential damages are excluded from this warranty. Implied warranties are limited to the life of this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you special legal rights, and you may also have other legal rights which may vary from state to state.
Point 65 Kayaks Warranty
Point 65 Sweden AB Limited Warranty
The Warranty contained herein is the whole and exclusive warranty made by Point 65 Sweden AB and there are no other warranties expressed or implied, including a warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or of merchantability made with respect to any product.
Point 65 Sweden AB is not liable for any injury mishap or loss incurred as the result of the use of this product. The user of this product acknowledges and assumes any risks associated with such use and waives any and all claims against Point 65 Sweden AB, its owners, staff, representatives, agents and assigns.
All products manufactured by Point 65 Sweden AB are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship according to the following conditions:
Warranty of Materials and Workmanship:
Products (not including nondurable parts such as ratchet straps, bungee cords, cords, lines etc) that prove defective within a period of 2 years from the original date of purchase, will be repaired or replaced, at the exclusive option of Point 65 Sweden AB, free of charge to the owner. Point 65 Sweden AB will not pay for any shipping and handling fees. Customers will pay for shipping and handling to and from a repair center, as designated by Point 65 Sweden AB.
The warranty will be null and void if the product is used in a commercial application, has been structurally altered in any manner, or the product has been stressed beyond the normal physical limits of the materials.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, fading, abrasions or abnormal abuse of the product. Damage caused by extreme use is not covered by this warranty.
Point 65 Sweden AB reserves the right to modify its designs, specifications or products without notice and without incurring any obligations to modify, retrofit or incorporate such changes into any products in production, in the possession of retailers or in use by customers. Products repaired or replaced under this warranty may or may not incorporate any changes in design or specification.
Regarding kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards original Owner Warranties are activated only upon receipt by Point 65 Sweden AB of the "Warranty Registration Card" as supplied with the product or online at www.point65.com. The owner shall complete the "Warranty Registration Card" and return it by mail using the supplied address or by using the appropriate form available online at www.point65.com. The warranty of such product is only activated upon receipt of the warranty card/registration online within 30 days of the original purchase.
Original sales receipt should be produced with warranty claims on all products as proof of purchase.
Fully Transferable/Limited Warranty
In the event the original owner sells the product, Point 65 Sweden AB will extend the warranty to the subsequent owners of the product only in the event that the original purchaser of the product has registered his/her original warranty. The new owner requests a new "Warranty Registration Card" to be sent to him/her and has it completed and mailed back to Point 65 Sweden AB within 10 days upon its receipt.
DISCLAIMER: In the event of a discrepancy between the warranty information herein and warranty information posted online the latter shall prevail.
If you experience difficulty with your new Point 65 Sweden product under the scope of this warranty, contact your retailer first to attempt to resolve the problem. Should you be unable to resolve the problem contact your country Distributor as specified on the Point 65 Sweden AB website www.point65.com.
Warranty Claims should contain the following:
- Original sales receipt.
- Serial number of the product (only applicable on kayaks & stand up paddle boards)
- Photos of the area/problem in question.
- A detailed description of the problem.
- A detailed description of the circumstances surrounding the occurrence of the problem.

We suggest shipping via UPS or DHL so that the shipment can be tracked and include a note in the package with your name, address, phone number and description and location of the problem. There will be a charge for repairs not covered by the Point 65 Packs warranty, and you will be notified of the amount.

Nucanoe Limited Warranty Policy
NuCanoe, Inc. extends the following Limited Warranty to the original retail consumer. All NuCanoe canoes used for individual use will be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of three years, commencing with the original date of purchase. NuCanoe, Inc. offers a one year warranty on canoes used for commercial operations. This warranty is in lieu of any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
In order to track this kayak/canoe for warranty purposes, NuCanoe owners must mail in their completed warranty registration form or register their kayak/canoe purchase on the warranty page of our website (www.nucanoe.com/register) within 30 days of the purchase date.
In the event of defect, malfunction, or other failure of the product not caused by any misuse, modification, or damage to the product while in possession of the original purchaser, we will remedy the failure or defect, without charge to the consumer, within a reasonable period of time. The remedy will consist of repair or replacement of the product, at our option.
If a defect of workmanship or materials occurs, please notify your dealer or NuCanoe, Inc. by phoning us at 360-543-9019, or by mailing or emailing us a written description of the problem along with all pertinent information as to model, serial number, date and location of purchase, proof of purchase, and your full name, phone number, and address.
Our Customer Service Representatives will instruct you how to obtain satisfaction under this warrant. The instruction may include, but not be limited to, contacting your original dealer or sending us the defective product. If the boat is to be returned to the factory, our customer service department will issue a return authorization number. Please affix this number to the boat. Please do not return any boat to the factory without a return authorization from the factory.
Breach of any written or implied warranty is limited to the following damages:
- 1. The cost of repairing or replacing the product.
- 2. Reasonable shipping charges incurred to effect repair or replacement.
- 3. Incidental or consequential damages arising from any defect in the product are specifically excluded from this warranty.
Note: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so a three-year limitation may not apply to you. If you are not satisfied with our response under this warranty, you may address a written appeal to the President of NuCanoe Inc. for additional consideration.
