Shipping made easy.

Our goal is to keep the ordering process as easy as possible. Processing times vary from 1-3 days. Shipping times on average are 7-21 days. This is depending on the stock of your Kayak. Please read through the following guidelines so you know what it will be like when you order your Kayak.

Order Confirmation:

You will receive an order confirmation e-mail as soon as you place your order. This means that the payment has been processed and we will be preparing your order for shipping. 

As soon as we receive payment we reach out to our supplier and make sure your Kayak is in stock. 

If your Kayak is on back order or out of stock. We will contact you via e-mail. This will usually be within 12 hrs of purchase. 

When the product is ready for shipment we will process the order immediately. Charges will be processed and the product will be shipped. You will receive order tracking and confirmation within 24 hours of leaving the warehouse.  

Order Shipment:

We ship Via UPS and FedEx for most of our Kayaks. If your order is over $200 A signature is required upon delivery. This is a service we cover to make sure it is you who receives the kayak. Whoever purchased the kayak will need to be present at the time of delivery to sign for the kayak.

If you don't receive a shipping confirmation and a shipping tracking number within 3 days of making your purchase feel free to reach out to us at (800)793-1642 or help@columbiakayaks.com. Please exclude Saturday and Sunday. Orders placed after 4 pm on Friday will be processed first thing on Monday mourning. 

When Making a Purchase from Columbia Kayaks you Agree to these Terms.

Shipping Damages and Missing Items

On arrival inspect the packaging inside and out thoroughly. Inspect your kayak upon delivery. If you notice any damage products or items missing make note of it before you sign for the kayak. Once you sign for the kayak you are releasing the shipping agent from liability and stating that received your package in perfect condition and with everything included.

If you notice any damages or missing parts please take photos. If you have received an item with damage or missing parts reach out to us and the manufacturer. Please be sure to include photos of the damages, order number, and your preferred contact information. Bellow is a list of all brand emails for warranty and shipping claims.

Nucanoe Shipping Policy

 

If damage Is Reported on the Delivery Receipt

Kayak is ACCEPTED by customer

  • NuCanoe will file a claim for reasonable damage allowance, as determined by NuCanoe, and will issue a damage credit to Dealer upon payment of the damage claim by NuCanoe, and will issue a damage credit to Dealer upon payment of the damage claim. Who will then issue the credit to the customer.
  •  Dealer is responsible to handling repair and/or damage compensation with Customer

Kayak is REFUSED by customer

  • NuCanoe will handle the refused boat and issue a credit to the dealer for the boat only, excluding the shipping cost paid.

 If damage IS NOT Reported on the Delivery Receipt

  • Customer will KEEP kayak “as is”
  • The dealer will work directly with the customer to resolve the problem and work out any repairs and/or damage.
  • NuCanoe will not issue a credit or file damage claim.

Customer will NOT KEEP kayak “as is”

  • The dealer will work directly with the customer to resolve the problem
  • NuCanoe can arrange for a refused boat to be routed back to Dealer at no additional cost, OR rerouted back to NuCanoe for partial credit, depending on the extent of the damage. Shipping cost paid will not be credited. Additional cost, OR rerouted back to NuCanoe for partial credit, depending on the extent of the damage. Shipping cost paid will not be credited.

Cancellations & Refunds:

On most Cancellations if your item has not shipped we can offer a full refund. All orders canceled can be subject to an administration fee equal to 20% of the total order amount, whether or not your order has shipped. This is a fee the manufacturer charges us because the items are custom assembled before each shipment to ensure quality control and safe packaging.

If your item is on back order and you accept the backorder, we will hold your payment until the Kayak ships. If you decide to cancel before a backorder arrives and is processed for shipping, we will not charge a fee.

Returns:

Our mission is to help you find the right kayak for your needs. If for any reason you decide that you do not want the kayak you purchased you are eligible for a return. The kayak or item you purchased from Columbia Kayak must be in its original form and packaging. We can not return items that have been used. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to the manufacturer. No item can be returned past 15 days of receiving the item

  • All orders will be processed Monday-Friday Our warehouses are closed on Saturday and Sunday and Holidays.
  • Columbia Kayaks has the right to refund your order for any reason.
  • Shipping cost may still change upon order processing. In some cases where your location is in a remote area or incurs a more than the average amount for shipping. Columbia Kayaks has the right to change the Shipping amount. We will contact you before we ever charge more for shipping.
  • Any costs incurred from incorrect address information leading to an item being delivered to the wrong location will be charged to the customer.
  •  Customers can not return items that have been used. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to the manufacturer.
